Doing the Spiritual ‘Be’ bop

I was prompted to write this post from a message I keep getting from Mother Earth.

Every morning upon awakening I do a quick ‘Good Way to Start My Day’ ritual…

The first thing I do is sit up on the edge of my bed. Then I create a grounding cord. Real simple. And very quick to do. As long as I have my intention set to ‘ground’ and make my connection to Mother Earth — I will. With no effort.

Usually, my grounding cord is a beautiful beam of light! This beam of golden/white light with sparkles of rainbow colors, connects from my 1st chakra at the base of my spine, down to the center of the earth. When it reaches the earth’s core, my grounding cord firmly anchors itself to Mother Earth.

As soon as I see/feel this connection being established, I know I am centered. I feel safe knowing that I am connected to Her — our Earth Mother.

“Hello, Mother Earth,” I declare in greeting. “Good morning. How are you today?”

I get a nice warm greeting in response from Her. “Good morning Stephen. Nice to see you!” She sings out to me.

Aaahhhhhh. That sure feels nice! Love and nurturing first thing in the morning… I feel a ‘love wash’ flowing through every cell of my beingness through my connection with Mother Earth.

I then ask Mother Earth if she has any words of wisdom or advice for me for the day. This is where it gets real interesting and personal. The ‘message of the day’ I get from her usually is direct and pertinent to what I am currently facing/undergoing in my life.

A common theme of these messages, lately, that I have been receiving from her revolves around the word ‘Be’. The B-word…

“Be, what?” you may be asking. Exactly.

Just Be.

“To Be, or not to Be?” That is the question. The answer is to just Be…

Be happy. Be peaceful. Be courageous. Be kind. Be patient. Be amused. Be forgiving. Be healed. Be creative. Be prosperous. Be neutral. Be in the present. Be a friend. Be the inspiration. Be the change. Be Love…

The states of being one can become just by Be-ing are infinite. Because we are infinite beings. Like musical notes to an uplifting song, we can ‘Be ourselves’ by moving to the rhythms of our personal Be-vibration. And we can improvise all we want to, as we Bebop to the harmonic structure and melody of our souls. Shall we dance?

So, go and ask Mother Earth what Be-word does she suggest for you today. Whatever message you receive from her, trust that it will enlighten your day — and your life.

Doing the Spiritual Bebop every day can be contagious. Who knows, we may just as well Be Creating a new trend on the planet. Yay, Mother Earth, way to go Girl!
