Spirit Polishing Renovation

August 25th, 2009 | Posted by: Stephen | Comments (2)

Hey! It’s been a while…

After much thought I decided to completely redo my website. Although I was happy with how my site looked, I felt it needed a long overdue update. To keep up with the times. In other words, I needed to get blogging!

I already started a blog a few months back. But I wasn’t satisfied in the capabilities of this particular blog platform. Plus, it was sort of inconvenient being that my blog was separate from my website: SpiritPolishing.com.

After much research I knew it was important to have a blog incorporated into my actual website. Each aspect of the website (content and blog) would enhance the other, and provide you with a more up-to-date and informative experience. That is what I learned through my research into this blogging thing. Got to keep up with the times!

The past few weeks I have been playing around with WordPress. Have you heard of this blogging platform? Well, you’re looking at it as you read this post. WordPress is very elegant and powerful in what it offers someone like me who desires to reach a broader audience over the Internet to spread my message.

But learning WordPress entailed going through a steep learning curve. The journey has been well worth it as I am very happy and satisfied with the final outcome.

It’s still a work in progress as I’m trying to figure out how to get some things to work. Please bear with me…

So, what do you think?

Till next time…

Stephen

Hi Stephen! Your new website looks amazing! didn’t think the last one needed that much improvement in the first place, but I like that I can now leave comments like this one :) btw, I tried your advice about visualizing while surfing, and it totally worked! Good luck with the funky changes this month, I’ll be diligently working on the homework you gave me :D
