Spirituality Draws Attention!

It sure captured mine!

An article appeared in the Sunday (9/6/09) edition of the Honolulu Advertiser which was entitled, “Japan first lady says she once visited Venus”. How often do you see something this interesting in the newspaper?

I was following the recent elections in Japan mainly because it signaled a change in the political landscape of that country. Seems like their ‘old-boy network’ of doing politics ended with the voting in of new Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. This development is very much similar to what happened in our country when Barack Obama was elected President.

Change is in the air!

Now that Mr. Hatoyama is in office, his wife Miyuki Hatoyama will be in the spotlight too. And it seems like the media will be all over her. I just hope that they won’t over sensationalize her sense of being who she is. And her being open about it. Sort of like a spiritual person ‘coming out of the closet’ and being okay with it. Why not!

Yes, Miyuki has shared through her writings and on a television appearance that amongst other things: She has astral traveled to Venus, and believes she was in a past life with Tom Cruise. What really made me smile was her version of how she brings in a ‘gold sun’. In her style, she eats it. “Yum, yum, yum,” she said.

I like her amusement!
